Skilpadjies
Die Skilpadjies is vir die babas van 8 tot 16 maande. Die klas het 12 babas en drie personeellede. Ons begin die jaar as klein babatjies, maar word so vinnig groot en verander sommer gou in klein peutertjies wie rond kan hardloop en vinnig leer.
The Skilpadjie class is for babies from 8 - 16 months. The class has 12 babies and 3 full-time staff members. We start the year as tiny babies, but grow up very fast and become eager little walkers who learn very fast.
Hoof Toesighouer 2023 - Shannon Williams
Shannon is tans met kraamverlof en sal Januarie 2022 weer by ons aansluit. Haar seuntjie is op 4 September gebore. Wilna van der Colff help tans in haar plek as hoof toesighouer uit.
Shannon het gootgeword in Jamestown, Stellenbosch. Sy het matrikuleer aan Hoërskool Lückhoff. Sy het 'n natuurlike passie om met kinders te werk, hulle te versorg en lief te hê. Sy het Educare by Boland Kollege in Stellenbosch studeer en in 2017 die kursus voltooi. Shannon het direk daarna by Kabouterland ingeval as klas-assistent. Sy het haarself bewys as iemand wie verantwoordelikheid kan aanvaar en vir haarself kan dink.
Shannon is 'n vriendelike, eerlike en betroubare mens op wie Kabouterland trots is.
Sy is baie avontuurlustig en geniet dit om nuwe plekke te sien. Sy pak nuwe uitdagings met alle erns aan en voltooi dit tot die beste van haar vermoë. Sy sien uit daarna om 'n verskil te maak in elke klein Skilpadjie se lewe! Haar motto is:
“Elke fout wat jy begaan is 'n leerproses om in die toekoms beter te doen.."
Teacher 2023: Shannon Williams
Shannon is currently on maternity leave and will join us again January. Her little boy, Carter, was born on the 4th of September. Wilna van der Colff is standing in for Shannon until she returns to work in January.
Shannon grew up in Jamestown, Stellenbosch. She matriculated at Lückhoff High School. She has a natural passion to work with children, to care for them and to love them. She obtained her N6 Educare qualification at Boland College in 2017 and immediately started working at Kabouterland thereafter as an assistant. She has proved herself to be a responsible person who can take initiative. Shannon is a friendly, honest and trustworthy person whom we are very proud of.
Shannon is quite adventurous and loves to visit new places. She takes on new challenges with all seriousness and completes them to the best of her ability. She looks forward to making a difference in every little Skilpadjie’s life.
